Sizing - Our All-Paca™ Fleece Gaiter is one size fits most & has a top opening that is approximately 9 1/2” in diameter (19” circumference). They are made to fit comfortably in order to let the Alpaca fiber do its work. The Fleece Gaiters are designed so that they can be worn over over a pull-over or turtle neck, and can also be tucked into a pull-over.

Regular Fit Style - Not too snug and not too loose. It looks great and allows for a full range of motion. Natural fibers perform at their optimal level when allowed a little room to breathe.

This garment doesn't need frequent washing; wearing it around 8-10 times helps it adapt to your body shape. Even if you sweat in it, hanging it up is sufficient as alpaca doesn't retain odors or encourage bacterial growth. To prevent moth damage, store it like wool. When washing, use a small to medium load with cold water and a light cycle, avoiding heavy fabrics like jeans. Regular detergent is fine, but avoid harsh chemicals such as bleach, Peroxide bleaches, or “Oxygen Cleaners”. When drying, turn the garment inside out to protect its outer surface, tumble dry on low heat with similar items for 10-15 minutes. If the garment feels flat or stiff, use the dryer's fluff cycle with wool dryer balls for 15-20 minutes. If traveling or backpacking without regular detergent, rinse with stream water or use a small amount of shampoo or mild liquid detergent in a sink, wring out, and air dry.
